Welcome to the Zoldo valley
Two mountains, one valley and a lot of history
Val di Zoldo lies in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites. On one side rises Monte Pelmo, on the other the huge north-west face of Monte Civetta.
In between are small mountain villages with old wooden houses and hay barns (tabià), larch forests and the Maè mountain stream. You will not find big hotel blocks here, nature comes first. Anyone who visits is a guest in a landscape we want to protect. Instead you find a valley with a story of its own: blacksmiths who forged nails for Venice for centuries, and families who became ice-cream makers all over Europe.
